So much to praise the Lord for! For the past couple of days I've been searching online and preparing my wish lists to take to bridal stores. The first bridal store that my sister, Georgie, mom and I went to today had FABULOUS sales. It also happened to have the dress of my dreams, a dress that was originally $900 but was on clearance AND on sale to the point where I paid for it with my own money, without even eating into the savings my parents have for my wedding! AND, the dress wasn't even available for order, so they gave me the one they had in the store, so I took it home with me today. Also, the dress fits almost perfectly, just a little too big in some areas, but my mom happens to be quite the top-of-the-line seamstress and can do my alterations for free! Woohoo! Big big check mark on the check list taken care of!
Hehehe Brent...sorry you can't see the dress I chose yet. ;)

i'm so excited for you :o)
Okay, well then, there must be a better than perfect in the universe. If you found one better than that last one. That's AMAZING! I can't wait to see what prettier than that is!
I usually read your sister's blog (which I found on a rabbit trail) and came across your blog from hers. Your post brought back many good memories! My husband and I have been married close to 9 years, and I remember all the excitement leading up to that day (and the stress too, but I can look back on that now and smile - funny how time does that!). Thank you for your post. It brought tears to my eyes (good tears) remembering that time in my life. May the Lord richly bless you both now and after the big day!
God is so good. I love it when you find something that you can pay with your own money.
there's nothing better than finding the dress of your dreams... except if you get it on clearance and can take it home with you!!! God is SOOOO good! :)
